Catching Up Newsletter May 2025

Hello Animal Lovers,

We skipped our last newsletter due to being too busy rescuing! So here is a catch up from late October 2024 until today. We love you and thank you for your support.

For this newsletter we listed all the rescue groups we supported these past months. Then we added photos of some of the animals we helped save. We also helped many needy individuals and rescue organizations with food, supplies, and vet bills paid all across the country and Mexico. Many of these groups and individuals received as many as three separate Little Guy Grants during this time period.

Tails of Joy gave out $150,000 in Little Guy Grants in 2024, thanks to YOU. We’re a small organization and we are all volunteer, so we make sure to get the most bang for your buck.

Remember to make arrangements for your pets’ care in case you step off the planet first. Get it in writing from the person who says “yes” now. Also leave a small fund for medical care for your animal, that takes the burden off whoever is going to be caring for your older pet. And put Tails of Joy in your will or estate plan! Our “Edith and Julie’s Spay and Neuter Fund at Tails of Joy” was made possible by Julie Bell, a wonderful woman who left us a bequest. We keep her name alive and her legacy is awesome; that of preventing the births of thousands of feral cats who would have had short, awful lives. And helping people in need pay to spay/neuter their pets. We can keep your name alive too and you can make a difference for animals long after you are gone.

Boxer Coffee donates to Tails of Joy every time you buy. But that’s not the reason to buy it, the reason to buy it is because it is the best coffee you ever had, family owned and brewed for decades and the incognito supplier of many famous chef and store brands across the country.
