The Peterboro Basket Company is known for furniture quality baskets made in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Founded in 1854, they are known for quality baskets that last. Sadly, they are closing their doors after over 150 years. 2022 will see the last Peterboro baskets made.
This is a rare one, not sold for some time, a doggy picnic basket with paw prints on the lid. It’s 7.5″ tall plus a 5″ tall handle, x 7.5″ diameter across the top. Because it’s vintage, it has a few scuffs, but the beauty and quality are perfect. This basket is handcrafted in the USA from hardwood Appalachian Ash and 100% American-made materials. All of the hardware has been brass coated to help prevent rusting. Peterboro Basket Company is the only manufacturer of this “one-of-a-kind” basket design.
