Our wonderful friend Sandy, a great trainer who is always available to help new adopters by generously volunteering her time to rescues, had this wonderful holiday portrait taken of her beautiful boys. Only hours later, Cooper unexpectedly left this earth with heart failure. Our good wishes go out to all of you.

Can't We All Get Along
HOUSTON, TEXAS
Every Sunday in Houston Texas, at the Petco
located at 1960 & Eldridge just off 290 from 12-5, (in case you're
in the
area), the Adopt A Cat volunteers take Aggie the shar-pei/chow mix, Sam
the
blue merle collie, and Bagheera the Tonkanese cat, to show the world peace
is
always possible. They are all rescues. Bagheera is their spokescat, and
is
kind enough to let Lisa Keefer bring a few dogs along every week who also
need homes.

Thank you from our four greyhounds-April (pictured), Snoopy, Bruser and Sunny. We've adopted one a year for four years.
Good to know that people will lend their voice to those who have no voice, no choice.
